Application Session
ERROR: No Session Established
Some pages in this application require the establishment of a "Session" for security purposes. Sessions are maintained using a cookie
which is stored on your computer until the browser window is closed or after 20 minutes of server inactivity.
If you have arrived at this page while trying to access another page in the application, either
- you have not logged on through the Log On page,
- your session has timed out after 20 minutes of server inactivity, OR
- there may be a problem with a browser setting that is preventing the application from being able to store a session cookie on your computer and access to certain restricted features is disabled.
Below are some tips that may correct the problem if you continue to receive this error:
- Enable cookies (opens tips from wikiHow in a new window)
- Clear your browser cache (opens tips from wikiHow in a new window)
- Add the site to Internet Explorer trusted sites:
- Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu
- Click on the "Security" tab
- Click on the "Trusted Sites" icon in the security zone selections
- Click the "Sites" button
- Type the url of the application (starting with https://) in the "Add this website to the zone" box
- Click the "Add" button
- Click the "Close" button
- Click the "OK" button
- CLOSE ALL INTERNET EXPLORER WINDOWS
- Reopen your browser and try again
- Reset your browser settings in Internet Explorer:
WARNING - The following action will reset all settings in Internet Explorer and will require a reboot. You will need to re-enter customized settings such as your default home page.
- Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu
- Click on the "Advanced" tab
- Click on the "Reset" button in the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" section (at the bottom of the panel)
- Check the box next to "Delete personal settings"
- Click the "Reset" button
- After the reset has completed, click the "Close" button
- Close your work and reboot your computer
